Our customer Beckers France wins on November 21^st 2019 in Paris the award for best sustainability and energy efficiency initiative.

This award is handed out by the French National Chemistry Industry Association.

The award is given to a successful collaboration between a chemical manufacturer and a supplier. Beckers France wins the award together with supplier DRUMDRUM – providing reconditioned drums in a sustainable and efficient manner, leading to a reduction in CO² emissions by 2.000 tons per year at Beckers France.

The initiative contributes to the circular economy by reusing drums instead of scrapping them after being used at customers.

DRUMDRUM accompanies customers in the transition process to use re-use packaging and contribute to a more circular world. In 2019 DRUMDRUM accompanied over 10 customers in their succesful transition from new to re-use steel drums.
