Mid December 2019, the newly installed PV installation was inspected and put into use by DRUMDRUM.

Over the past few months, more than 1500 large-sized solar panels have been installed at a tight pace on part of the roofs of DRUMDRUM in Rumbeke. As a result, more than 10% of the future electricity consumption will be generated in a sustainable manner.

The PV installation project was succesfully supervised by Bart with Ingenium from Brugge and was carried out by Ministry of Solar from Ruislede.

A year ago at DRUMDRUM the majority of the lamps in the buildings were replaced by LED lamps that are much more energy efficient. Further energy saving projects are ongoing.
