THE THERMAL TREATMENT PROCESS

Drums that contained non-washable contents are cleaned via thermal treatment.

Drums are always opened before undergoing the heat treatment process. This either by opening rings and lids of open top drums or by cutting open closed top drums.

During the thermal treatment, the residues are separated and removed from the drums. The emissions from the oven are continuously monitored and treated with the best available technologies.

The inside and outside of the drums are thoroughly shotblasted to remove paint residues and logos and to properly prepare the surface for painting.

To protect, the plain drums are lacquered internally and externally. Our modern paint installations and curing ovens allow to apply a wide variety of internal coatings.
This in function of the customer's final filling content of the drum.

Below you find the process flow of the thermal treatment process.
